Six weeks of the NFL season are in the books and there continues to be significant movement on the 2023 Super Bowl odds board. Luckily for bettors, with line movement comes the opportunity to find value in the midst of market overreaction.
Week 6 in the NFL was full of upsets. That didn’t drop the price too much for the top-tier teams. That is more a product of the fact that there seem to be very few teams in that top tier. The Eagles are the only undefeated team after six weeks. Three other teams are 5-1, the Bills, Vikings, and Giants. Some teams’ lines did not move at all, either because of a bye week or Vegas not overreacting to a win or loss.

Moving Up
Bills, Eagles, Vikings, Chargers, Bengals, Patriots, Giants, Jets, Falcons, Seahawks, Steelers, Commanders
The two top teams, the Bills and the Eagles, have moved up slightly at the top of the board. Also notable, both New York teams are playing above expectations this year, but neither can make a Super Bowl run. Also, keep buying the Vikings. Outside of the Eagles, they are one of the most impressive teams in the NFC.
Moving Down
Chiefs, Buccaneers, Ravens, 49ers, Packers, Dolphins, Colts, Jaguars, Browns, Saints, Broncos, Cardinals, Lions, Bears, Texans
Some past Super Bowl hopefuls like the Colts, Cardinals, and Broncos continue to fall. The Colts’ odds dropped even after a win. Vegas is really starting to separate the teams that have a realistic shot at going all the way.
2023 Super Bowl Bets to Consider Right Now
Miami Dolphins +4000
The Dolphins’ odds fell from +3400 to +4000 after losing to the Vikings Sunday. Tua Tagovailoa was out the last two games which resulted in the Dolphins’ losses. But he is set to return Sunday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
This is risky, but if Tagovailoa can stay healthy, this Dolphins team can go on a run. Their next five opponents are the Steelers, Lions, Bears, Browns, and Texans. The Dolphins could easily go 5-0 during this stretch and their odds should really jump up. Buy the Dolphins now as a sneaky AFC team.
Baltimore Ravens +1800
I’m mentioning another AFC team because honestly there is not a lot to like on the NFC side as far as values outside of the Vikings. The Ravens lost a heartbreaker to the Giants Sunday and their odds fell by +400. Outside of playing the Buccaneers, the Ravens face the Browns, Saints, Panthers, Jaguars, and Broncos. They could easily be 6-0 or 5-1 during this stretch, in which their odds will move up. So now seems like a could time to buy the Ravens after an unexpected loss.
