Best Bengals-Chiefs AFC Championship Passing Props

Patrick Mahomes Player Prop: Most Passing Yards of Game

Sunday presents a battle between Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow once again. Both quarterbacks have led their respective teams back to the AFC Championship Game for a rematch. Mahomes suffered a high ankle sprain against the Jacksonville Jaguars during the Chiefs’ Divisional Round win, which caused him to miss a portion of the first half. He powered through and showcased why he is the best quarterback in the NFL by returning in the second half and leading the Chiefs to their fifth consecutive AFC Championship Game.

The running game was presumed to be nonexistent for the Bengals, who were without multiple offensive linemen, but running back Joe Mixon rushed for over 100 yards for only the second time all season. Burrow was comfortable all day in the pocket and was only sacked once in the rout of the Buffalo Bills. Look for the Bengals to continue to run the ball efficiently against a Chiefs team that allowed Jaguars running back Travis Etienne to rush for 6.2 yards per carry last week.

Joe Burrow Player Prop: O/U 25.5 Pass Completions

Burrow has solidified himself as a top-three quarterback in this league. He’s at his best when the moment is the brightest, and that was on display last Sunday against the Buffalo Bills in a snowstorm. Burrow completed 23 of 36 passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns, and he had minimal issues playing behind backup offensive linemen.

The offense was firing on all cylinders, with Mixon averaging 5.3 yards on 20 carries. Mixon missed the Bengals-Chiefs regular season matchup, but backup running back Samaje Perine rushed for over 100 yards in a Bengals victory. So despite Burrow playing like a superstar, look for the Bengals to lean on the run game a bit once again.
