Bears vs. Patriots MNF Weather Report: Videos Of Rainy Gillette Stadium Surface Ahead of Week 7 Finale

The Chicago Bears and New England Patriots have enough problems moving the football, but perhaps they’ll face another obstacle when they face off on Monday Night Football: rain. Let’s dive into the Bears – Patriots weather report. Be sure to check our OddsShopper tool for the latest NFL bets.

On Monday afternoon, videos of rain pouring down on Gillette Stadium ahead of the football game went viral on the web.

Per The Weather Channel, there should be a window during the game where the rain will hold off. The showers are supposed to settle down by 5:00 ET, but could potentially make for an extremely foggy night in New England.

The under was already set incredibly low at 40.5 (per BetMGM), and has been a popular play.

According to BetMGM’s John Ewing, 68% of bets are currently on the under, and the bet has been hitting at a wild 14-7 clip on prime time games this season. The Bears – Patriots weather is certainly going to impact bettors decisions.

Regardless of what the weather has in store, the Bears will have their work cut out for them to move the ball against Bill Belichick’s defense. Led by young QB Justin Fields, the Bears rank third to last (just ahead of the Tennessee Titans and  Carolina Panthers) with just 293.5 yards per game.

However, one of their two wins of the season came during Week 1, when a downpour in Chicago hurt a Trey Lance-led San Francisco 49ers team from being able to put points up, resulting in a 19-10 Bears win.

Last week, the Bears mustered just one touchdown during a 12-7 loss to the Washington Commanders on Thursday Night Football.

Chicago could be in for a long night against the Patriots, and weather should be the least of their worries.
