Colts vs. Broncos Anytime Touchdown Prop: Jerry Jeudy Exceptional Value Without Javonte Williams (October 6)

After arguably one of the worst starts for an offense this season, the Denver Broncos‘ offense finally looks like it’s starting to come around. With a short week at home in primetime, they get a chance to continue the momentum.

Jerry Jeudy Anytime Touchdown (+230, FanDuel)

With the loss of Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon’s early fumble issues, paired with the Bronco’s matchup today against a team who defends the run quite well, there could be a surplus of chances for this wide receiver core to produce. This gives Jerry Jeudy exceptional value at +230 over on FanDuel.

Keeping in mind the offensive slump the Broncos went through, Jeudy has performed quite well. Targeted 21 times, he’s hauled in 11 of them for two touchdowns. When targeted, he provides a stellar 113.8 passer rating with a whopping 16.6 yards per reception. Being predominantly a slot receiver, he will match up against Colt’s slot corner Kenny Moore II. This year is by far his worst when it comes to production. In the slot he’s been picked on, to say the least, Moore has been targeted 20 times, allowing 15 of those passes to be hauled in. This has resulted in a 140.80 passer rating allowed, ranking him firmly at the bottom of slot corners in the NFL. Safety Rodney Thomas II, a seventh-round pick in 2022, is also having a lackluster start to his season, ranking 61st out of 81 gradable safeties in coverage.

The Colts have allowed slot receivers to catch nearly 80% of their targets thus far, but this struggle isn’t something new. The Colts ranked 29th last season in yards per attempt to slot receivers. Bet on this Broncos’ slot receiver to haul in touchdown No. 3 against this Colts slot corner who allows a 140 passer rating.
