That fits well with Prescott, who has seen 34+ attempts in each of the last three games. That bodes well in this market for two reasons: the first is bypassing a popular Tony Pollard play, and the second is taking advantage of the matchup providing value. People will pile on Pollard expecting he’s “due” despite a much more difficult pathway than Prescott in moving the ball downfield. A watered down number isn’t worth the hope Pollard takes it from the one off a penalty or long drive. Best to look elsewhere – how Prescott connects with a familiar target. At this point, if you can get Christian McCaffrey at +400 or better, go ahead and take a shot. While the chalk is certainly appealing, look at another angle with the 49ers offense. The Niners may have an unblemished record, Purdy continues to win games, yet one of their big guns has been kept out of the end zone. It’s going to happen. The run game should bludgeon the Cowboys defense, actually softening some things up for the middle of the field. Kyle Shanahan is quick on the draw to exploit or set something up in game, so take George Kittle at a 13-1. This might be as good as it gets for a guy who is still the third on the team in receiving yards and still a favorable target of Purdy.
