Isaiah McKenzie vs. Gabe Davis: Which Bills Receiver Has More Fantasy Football, DFS Value For TNF?

The Buffalo Bills have gotten contributions from secondary receivers, Gabe Davis and Isaiah McKenzie, all season long. And with the New England Patriots likely to prioritize the coverage of Stefon Diggs on Thursday Night Football, let’s take a look at the Isaiah McKenzie-Gabe Davis fantasy football rankings & analysis.

Isaiah McKenzie-Gabe Davis Fantasy Football Ranking & Analysis

Per our Stokastic weekly receiver rankings, Gabe Davis (No. 38 on the board) ranks slightly ahead of Isaiah McKenzie (No. 53) but either would be considered a risky play against a strong Patriots defense. Using our player compare tool, McKenzie is projected at 8.34 fantasy points, with Davis checking in at 10.23.

With our expert DFS projections, Davis ($8,000) comes in as a slightly better value play than McKenzie ($6,800) but neither are considered a very strong play.

Both Davis and McKenzie have played in 10 of 11 games, but it’s been Davis who has been putting up more fantasy points given his ability to stretch the field in the vertical passing game. Davis has 33 receptions this year for 650 yards and five touchdowns. And while McKenzie has 30 receptions, it’s mostly been on short and intermediate routes. He has 315 yards and four touchdowns, and it’s really his 10.5 yards per reception (compared to Davis’ 19.7) that hinders him as a fantasy play.

In the Thanksgiving Day game against the Detroit Lions, Isaiah McKenzie turned in his best performance of the season, with nine receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown. This could lead fantasy and DFS players to believe that he’s ready for a breakout for the remainder of the season, but don’t expect his role to change all too much after an outlier performance.

Gabe Davis remains the stronger play over Isaiah McKenzie against the Patriots. But feel free to use our DFS tools for any other questions you may have for the remainder of the season.
