Michael Pittman Jr. vs. Diontae Johnson: Who Has More Fantasy Football, DFS Value in MNF?

Are wide receivers Michael Pittman Jr. and Diontae Johnson in for a big showdown on Monday Night Football? Ahead of the Pittsburgh SteelersIndianapolis Colts matchup to close NFL Week 12, let’s take a look at the Michael Pittman Jr.Diontae Johnson fantasy football and DFS rankings.

Michael Pittman Jr.Diontae Johnson Fantasy Football and DFS Ranking

Per the Stokastic weekly receiver rankings, Michael Pittman Jr. (No. 2 for the prime time slate) is ranked ahead of Diontae Johnson (No. 4). Using the fantasy football player compare tool, Pittman projects at 15.11 points, with Johnson projecting at 12.39.

Using the expert DFS projections, Pittman ($6,200) is projected to score more than Johnson ($5,200). But with the pricing difference, Pittman is a slightly better value play even as a slightly more expensive option.

Working with Matt Ryan back as Colts quarterback the past two games, Pittman has seen an increase in his production over when Sam Ehlinger was under center, with a combined 13 receptions for 128 yards. And even though Pittman has not caught a touchdown pass since Week 1, he ranks as the No. 20 fantasy football wide receiver this season.

Johnson leads the Pittsburgh Steelers in receptions (53) and yards (456) but has yet to score a TD all season long. He also is coming off his least productive game of the season, with just four receptions on five targets for 21 yards. With tight end Pat Friermuth and rookie WR George Pickens building a rapport with quarterback Kenny Pickett and getting more targets in each of the past two games, look for Johnson to trail Pittman for the prime time slate.

Use the DFS player compare tool for any more questions you may have for the remainder of the NFL season.
