Tyler Huntley Fantasy Football and DFS Ranking For Week 16 With Lamar Jackson Remaining Out

Is Tyler Huntley a fantasy football option in Week 16? Ahead of the Atlanta Falcons vs. Baltimore Ravens Week 16 matchup, check out where we have Huntley ranking for fantasy football and DFS to see if the backup quarterback has any value.

Tyler Huntley Fantasy Football & DFS Rankings

Per our Stokastic NFL Start/Sit rankings for fantasy football, Tyler Huntley (No. 17 on the board) views as a middle-of-the-pack quarterback option for Week 16, with a projected total of 15.36.

However, the Tyler Huntley DFS ($5,300) may have even more value. Our expert projections give him a nice value rating of 2.96, with a projected ownership of just 2.2%.

In his three games filling in for Lamar Jackson, Huntley has yet to put up any big numbers. Yet, his running ability makes him a threat to pop off when facing an Atlanta Falcons defense that ranks No. 23 in the league in fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Huntley has yet to break off a big run this season, but was able to scramble for the go-ahead TD in the Week 13 win over the Denver Broncos. He has 25 carries for 87 yards on the season.

When filling in for Lamar Jackson last year, Huntley impressed, especially on the run. In his four games started, Huntley ran 47 times for 294 yards and two touchdowns. His 6.3 yards per carry was much better than the 3.5 mark this season.

Huntley was listed on the Ravens’ injury report on Wednesday with a right shoulder issue, but was able to participate in the last two practices, and is expected to start Saturday without any limitations.

Expect Tyler Huntley to see some better results against an unimpressive Falcons defense on Saturday, with a high chance that he can turn in his best performance of the season. View the Ravens QB as a low-end fantasy play with some potential upside.
