Ons Jabeur-Marketa Vondrousova Wimbledon Odds: Jabeur Favored Despite Recent Losses

Jabeur-Vondrousova Tennis Odds
BetMGM
: Vondrousova +185 | Jabeur -225
FanDuel: Vondrousova +188 | Jabeur -230

In a surprising women’s singles final at Wimbledon, No. 6 Ons Jabeur and Marketa Vondrousova are scheduled to play for the title on Saturday, July 15 at 9 a.m. ET. The top-five seeds have all been eliminated, several by these players themselves. Vondrousova took down No. 4 Jessica Pegula while Jabeur knocked out No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka and No. 3 Elena Rybakina. Both players are sure to see their rankings improve in the WTA Rankings once the tournament concludes.

Jabeur got to the finals here last year. She came in at No. 3 before losing to then-No. 17 Rybakina in three sets. But Jabeur took revenge against Rybakina in this year’s quarterfinals, knocking her out after dropping the first set. Jabeur pulled off a similar comeback against Sabalenka in the semifinals as well. She has lost three opening sets at Wimbledon but is yet to lose a second or third frame.

In contrast, Vondrousova wasn’t even at Wimbledon last year. She had never even made it further than the second round here before 2023. However, this won’t be Vondrousova’s first time in the finals of a Grand Slam tournament, as she lost to Ashleigh Barty in the finals of the 2019 French Open. Vondrousova has been incredible at Wimbledon, dropping only two sets, one to No. 12 Marie Bouzkova and No. 4 Jessica Pegula.

The books and sharp bettors have settled on a sizeable favorite: No. 6 Ons Jabeur, who owns odds of -225 (69.2%) at BetMGM. Bettors eager to get action on the favorite should do so there. Vondrousova is a sizeable underdog, with odds of +188 (34.7%) at FanDuel, but we’ve seen her take down seeded players before. We’ve even seen her beat Jabeur twice this year! The duo are an even 3-3 all-time. Make sure to check out our bet shopping pages for any +EV tennis bets before locking in your wagers for the women’s semifinal at Wimbledon!
