WNBA Picks Today: Sky vs. Sun & Aces vs. Storm Game 4 Playoff Predictions (Tuesday, September 6)

The semifinals of the 2022 WNBA Playoffs were projected to be extremely competitive, and they’ve exceeded expectations. Tonight, both of the remaining series will continue and two teams will have an opportunity to punch their ticket to the WNBA Finals with a win. Check out a breakdown of tonight’s matchups below, with the best WNBA picks today, as well as the Sky vs Sun prediction and Aces vs Storm prediction below.

WNBA Picks Today: Round 2 Playoff Betting Predictions

WNBA Pick: Chicago Sky vs. Connecticut Sun Game 4

The injury reports are clean once again for this matchup, and there hasn’t been an obvious sighting of tired legs throughout the series thus far. It’s safe to assume both teams are playing at full health tonight.

Game 3 between these two teams was very back and forth for all 40 minutes. Both the Sky and the Sun shot nearly 40% from the field. Connecticut managed to shoot much better than Chicago from 3-point territory, but that was balanced out by the impressive rebounding performance displayed by the Sky. Candace Parker played another solid game as she finished with 16 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 stocks (steals + blocks). DeWanna Bonner scored 18 points for the Sun, but her and her team wasn’t particularly efficient. The matchup was very defensive as only one starter in the entire game shot better than 40% from the field.

When betting this game, feel comfortable taking the Sun (-1.5) to win and extend this series to a Game 5 in Chicago. This has been a competitive series and there’s no reason to believe it won’t continue to be all the way through. The Sun play well at home and the atmosphere should be wild. Trust Connecticut to play solid defense, and expect last year’s WNBA MVP Jonquel Jones to play better than she has throughout the series so far.

WNBA Playoff Prediction Today: Connecticut Sun -1.5 (-105)

WNBA Pick: Las Vegas Aces vs. Seattle Storm Game 4

Both of these teams finished Game 3 healthy and will have their full arsenal available for Game 4. That is a good thing for fans because this series has been nothing short of incredible, particularly Game 3.

Last time out, the Aces and the Storm put on a show. Vegas had a comfortable lead for the majority of the first half before Seattle turned it around in the second half, coming back to take a late lead off of a Sue Bird 3-pointer . The game ultimately went into overtime where the Aces pulled away quickly and won by double-digits. The Storm got beat down on the glass, losing that battle by 15 rebounds. Breanna Stewart’s 20-15-6 game was overshadowed by Aces forward A’ja Wilson’s 34-point masterclass. The star’s sidekicks played extremely well as the Seattle starting guards combined for 34 points, while Chelsea Gray dropped 29 points and 12 assists.

For this bet, you should expect the Storm to come out angry that they gave away Game 3. They get to play at home with their championship aspirations on the line and they should have great energy because of it. Tina Charles should also step up in terms of rebounding in comparison to what she provided her last time out. This Seattle team is riddled with star veterans and experienced players. Look for them to force a Game 5.

WNBA Playoff Prediction Today: Seattle Storm -1.5 (-105)
