Best YRFI & NRFI Picks Today: 6-1 Winning Streak! My +213 Parlay (September 27)

We swept our no run first inning bets on Tuesday, which extends our winning streak on NRFI picks to 6-1! I was really hoping that Marlins-Mets game would play so we could win another parlay, but it indeed got postponed.

If you follow me on Twitter, you saw I gave out a bonus bet with the Dodgers-Rockies yes run first inning. It helped make Tuesday a little bit more profitable, so always be sure to check out my Twitter feed for added bonus bets throughout the day.

For the record, I absolutely love a Marlins-Mets NRFI today, but as of the time of writing, they’ve yet to release lines. I’m including the writeup from yesterday, as I anticipate the Mets will start Joey Lucchesi. However, if they start Kodai Senga in Game 1 of the doubleheader, I will be SMASHING that NRFI with even more confidence. My ideal scenario would be to pair Game 1 of the Marlins-Mets doubleheader with the Yankees-Blue Jays pick of this for our parlay, but we don’t have that luxury right now.

I’ll include one of the other top plays from the OddsShopper YRFI/NRFI Bet Tool as a secondary option in the meantime.

Now let’s continue to ride this heater and come back with another NRFI sweep to pad our bankroll a little ahead of Thursday Night Football tomorrow.

New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays First Inning Bet

It must be Groundhog Day with as many rematches we’re seeing of late. This is another exact matchup we saw from Sept. 21, with Gerrit Cole and Jose Berrios on the mound — only this time it’s in Toronto.

Last time out, we got the bad version of Berrios, giving up two singles in the first before allowing a three-run homer to awful Jake Bauers to ruin our NRFI. That won’t happen today as Berrios looks to right the ship against the Yankees, who might be without Aaron Judge again, as he is a legit “day to day” with a toe injury. Berrios is 25-6 on NRFIs this season and is almost a full run better in the ERA department at home. I’m looking for a reprieve here in this game, especially after he stole money from us in his last outing.

There isn’t much to say about Cole; the guy is the absolute nuts. He improved his no run first inning record to 25-7 after his last start against the Blue Jays, and there’s no reason to think he doesn’t cap it off with another NRFI tonight. In his previous start, he threw eight innings, gave up one run and struck out nine. I don’t need an outing like that — though I certainly wouldn’t deny it — I just need a clean bottom half of the first.

Chicago Cubs vs. Atlanta Braves First Inning Bet

The Cubs need this game in a bad way after blowing a six-run lead last night to the Braves.

Atlanta is trotting out Darius Vines, who is making his second MLB start. That’s a good thing for the Cubs, as they’re going to need some runs to bounce back from last night. In his last three appearances, Vines has given up five runs in 8.1 innings, with four strikeouts and four strikeouts.

Jameson Taillon has given up 11 YRFIs in 28 starts this season, and we’re looking to add No. 12 if the Cubs can’t get it done against Vines in the top half. You don’t need me to tell you how great the Braves offense is; you already know.  Taillon doesn’t only suck against the Braves, he chugs — which is a far more intense version of sucking. Braves vs. Taillon: .327 average, three home runs and a .509 slugging percentage.

The OddsShopper YRFI/NRFI Bet Tool loves this play, as it’s the No. 2 overall YRFI bet on the slate.

Miami Marlins vs. New York Mets First Inning Bet (From Tuesday)

This is an exact replica of last Tuesday’s Mets-Marlins matchup, with Braxton Garrett and Joey Lucchesi getting the starts tonight.

The left-handed Lucchesi takes on the Marlins again tonight after cashing our NRFI a week ago. He’s riding a three-game no run first inning streak, he might get a small boost if Luis Arraez is still out with that ankle injury. As long as he stays away from walking batters, he should be OK.

It seems that all Marlins pitchers have been great with NRFIs this season, and Garrett is no exception. Our guy is 23-6 in his no run first inning opportunities this season and has NRFI’d the Mets THREE times already this season.

Let’s run this rematch back and go for the same result!

Wednesday’s YRFI/NRFI Parlay

As I mentioned earlier, my ideal scenario will be to pair the Mets-Marlins NRFI with the Yankees-Blue Jays NRFI for a parlay, which I will be doing once we get lines.

However, if you want to get action down immediately, the best place to parlay Cubs-Braves YRFI and Yankees-Jays NRFI is at FanDuel Sportsbook, where we’re getting +213 odds.
