NBA Player Props Today: Picks for Keyonte George, Cade Cunningham & More

Immanuel Quickley Player Prop

The Toronto Raptors have given guard Immanuel Quickley the keys to the kingdom (or what’s left of it) since acquiring him from the New York Knicks just before the new year. Quickley’s role has increased since arriving, averaging 37.3 minutes and 21.2 points per game in March. On Friday night, he’ll lead the Raptors against the Orlando Magic, one of the slowest-paced, defensive-minded teams in the league. We’re projecting the shifty guard to go under his points-rebounds-assists total in this one.

This is a classic sell-high spot on Quickley, who has posted some pretty wild lines over his past few games, including a near triple-double against the Phoenix Suns on March 7. However, Quickley has only gone over this PRA total in five of his last 10 games. The Raptors will also be without RJ Barrett while catch-and-shoot guard Gary Trent, Jr. could also miss on Friday night. Meanwhile the Orlando Magic will be at full strength.

The Orlando defense ranks among the NBA’s top teams in defensive metrics including defensive efficiency and leads the league in fewest assists allowed per game. Not only does this one pass the eye test, the OddsShopper NBA betting tools are on board as well, listing the true odds of Quickley going under at -127, giving bettors a slight edge.

NBA Player Prop Pick: Immanuel Quickley under 36.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists (-120 on DraftKings)

Cade Cunningham Player Prop

The Detroit Pistons are coming off of their best four-game stretch of the season – with wins against the Toronto Raptors, Charlotte Hornets and Brooklyn Nets – but face a legit Eastern Conference playoff team in the Miami Heat on Friday night. Despite the recent success, the Heat play a different brand of basketball than the three bottom-dwellers that the Pistons recently defeated and should make life more difficult on Detroit’s primary playmaker. Our OddsShopper premium tools have Cunningham projected to go under his assist total in Friday’s matchup.

Our NBA betting tools are showing the true odds for Cunningham’s assists under at -102. Bettors can gain an edge on the books if they place this bet at BetRivers or SugarHouse, listed at +110. Meanwhile, Pinnacle, a sharp book, lists the under 7.5 assists for -104, and DraftKings has it listed at -120, a massive discrepancy. OddsShopper calculates true odds by indexing odds available at all books and adjusting for book sharpness and hold.

NBA Player Prop Pick: Cade Cunningham under 7.5 Assists (+114 on BetRivers)

Keyonte George Player Prop

Are you afraid of the Atlanta Hawks‘ defense? Yeah, neither is Keyonte George. The rookie guard out of Baylor has been carrying the Utah Jazz in the month of March, averaging 21.5 points per game. Did I mention that number includes a 0-point performance against the Washington Wizards where he left the game after just six minutes with an injury concern? If we leave out that outlier game, he’s averaging over 28 points per game and 5.7 made threes per game. He’s lighting it up recently and it seems like sportsbooks haven’t quite caught up yet.

Not only has he been scoring in bunches, but he’s also shooting the lights out from distance. Since March 1, George has gone 16-for-32 from beyond the arc including at least five made three-pointers in each of his last three full games. The Atlanta Hawks defense allows the third-highest opponent three-point percentage in the league (38.4%) this season and has allowed opponents to shoot 41.0% from three over their last three games combined.

Not only do the game logs, matchup metrics and trends point toward George draining a handful of threes tonight, he should also see plenty of usage as both Jordan Clarkson and Lauri Markannen have been ruled out for Friday night’s game. The fact that bettors can take this number at +140 on DraftKings feels like a really nice value.

NBA Player Prop Pick: Keyonte George over 3.5 three-pointers made (+140 on DraftKings)
