DraftKings Pick6 Predictions for Today’s NBA Slate (March 7)

With seven games on tap in the NBA, no team may be in more need of a win than the Dallas Mavericks. Losers of three straight, Dallas will host the Miami Heat in the first of two prime time games. The later action features a highly likely NBA Finals matchup as Boston is in Denver. Let’s dive into the best DraftKings Pick6 predictions for today’s NBA action. Looking for more NBA pick’em advice? Here’s the lowdown on DraftKings Pick6: It is meant to mirror most pick’em sites, allowing you to build a two- to six-leg entry with larger payouts for more correct choices. However, the new product is peer-to-peer, meaning the strategy lies in beating other players in pre-selected tournaments rather than beating the house, making it important to be contrarian!

DraftKings Pick6 Predictions for Today’s NBA Slate

Luka Doncic M/L 33.5 Points

Despite his team dropping three straight games, Luka Doncic is putting in serious work. He’s dominated everyone faced with guarding him, yet the team has come up short in each of those contests. There’s not much more Doncic can do, especially from a scoring standpoint.

Scoring over 33.5 points in three straight games has been difficult enough. Dallas won’t benefit by asking him to score even more against the Heat. Speaking of which, Miami might be down a few players but the defensive efforts will remain. Luka is playing at an insane clip right now but the Mavericks benefit more from slowing him down than anything else.

DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Luka Doncic LESS Than 33.5 Points

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope M/L 10.5 Points

A monster of matchups between the visiting Boston Celtics and host Denver Nuggets. KCP is on a nice little run of scoring, which opens up a great position to fade. Part of the Pick6 strategy is finding reasonable spots to fade knowing the majority of bettors seek out the overs.

In their earlier bout, Boston held Caldwell-Pope to just five points off six shots. He wasn’t a scoring factor then, and won’t be tonight either. The shot volume is consistently on the lower side for KCP this year, and Boston won’t allow any exception.

We’ve seen him go over this point total by shooting well over 50% on 6-7 shots. Those numbers are going to be extremely difficult to hit against the Celtics, even against bench players.

DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope LESS Than 10.5 Points

Grayson Allen M/L 3.5 Assists

The Suns are struggling right now as they deal with the harsh reality of lacking depth. Toronto isn’t good, and should provide more scoring chances for Grayson Allen than passing opportunities. In fact, it took overtime against Denver for Allen to hit four dimes – something he failed to do in four games prior.

Phoenix is still down Devin Booker, and for Allen another player to turn a pass into an assist. With the Suns down to a “Big 2” it’s truly up to guys like Allen to catch and shoot or create whatever he can, elevating his threat as a scorer. The Suns dont win these types of games against poor teams by turning Allen into Chris Paul.

By getting Allen going early it can help take some pressure off Bradley Beal and Kevin Durant. Either way, Allen won’t be the Suns’ primary source of distribution.

DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Grayson Allen LESS Than 4.5 Assists
