Jimmy Butler o22.5 Points (NBA Player Prop)
Let’s kick off today’s NBA parlay picks but putting some of our hard-earned coin on an absolute ALPHA.
The bet: Jimmy Butler over 22.5 points against the Dallas Mavericks.
Butler has been on a mission to get the Heat back on track after a rough stretch in January where they lost seven straight games. And, they’re 11-3 in the 14 games since that losing streak.
Jimmy Buckets has played in 10 of those 14 games, this is what he’s done:
- Averaged 24.3 points per game
- Shot 52.9% from the field
- Cashed the over 22.5 points prop six times
- Finished with 21-22 points THREE times
The fella has been flat out getting it done. And he’s going to continue that against the Mavs tonight.
Over its last seven games, Dallas has allowed a combined 47.58 points per game to the small forward/power forward positions — the two positions Butler plays most.
Butler does A LOT of damage by getting to the free-throw line. In fact, Butler has attempted nine of more free-throws in five straight games. And, Dallas allows opponents to get to the free-throw line over 20 times per game.
So, we could get a lot of freebies here from Jimmy, and we’re going to take every single one of them with a smile!
Jamal Murray o21.5 Points (NBA Player Prop)
We’re going back to the well on a guy who has been good to us all season, and for the second of our NBA parlay picks today, we’re taking Jamal Murray for over 21.5 points against the Boston Celtics.
Taking a look at Murray’s last 5 games:
- 28 points
- 24 points
- 6 points (only played 14 mins)
- 32 points
- 27 points
So, obviously, Murray has been putting the ball in the basket, and cashed the over on 21.5 points in four of his last five games.
Point guards against Boston this season average just a shade over 24 points per game, and Murray did just put up 35 against this very Celtics team IN BOSTON.
The Celtics allow the most above-the-break 3-pointers in the NBA this season at 16.1 per game. That plays directly into one of Murray’s biggest strengths, as he’s shooting 43.8% on above-the-break 3s this season (103-for-235).
If the 3-pointers are falling, this should be an easy cash for Murray.
