DraftKings Pick6 Predictions Today: T-Wolves Stars Keep Starring (April 26)

We come in fresh off a 3-0 sweep last night, looking to build another successful DraftKings Pick6 card. There are three more games on tap, including an earlier 5:30 p.m. ET start in Milwaukee as the Bucks and Pacers are knotted one game apiece. The Suns are the only team tonight playing at home with an 0-2 deficit, with the Mavericks and Clippers also tied as they tip in Dallas. Focusing on the later action, here are the top plays for DK Pick6 for Friday April 26!

Here’s the lowdown on DraftKings Pick6: It is meant to mirror most pick’em sites, allowing you to build a two- to six-leg entry with larger payouts for more correct choices. However, the new product is peer-to-peer, meaning the strategy lies in beating other players in pre-selected tournaments rather than beating the house, making it important to be contrarian!

Rudy Gobert M/L Than 11.5 Rebounds

The Timberwolves can go up a commanding 3-0 with a win tonight in Phoenix. Gobert’s production on the glass has been a little inconsistent despite only playing two games against the Suns. He was dominant in Game 1, clearing 16 boards in the process but falling well short of the above total in Game 2 — just nine. The biggest difference was the need for scoring versus finding position on the offensive glass.

Minnesota saw Jaden McDaniels take over as the lead scorer, helping to further push Gobert’s lesser performance as an anomaly. Anthony Edwards was held to 15, and there was less movement without the ball for Gobert overall. We see a nice break with the market price of -140 versus the implied odds -136 on Pick6. Thanks to the NBA pick’em tool, we have a slight 1.2% EV edge.

DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Rudy Gobert MORE Than 11.5 Rebounds

Anthony Edwards M/L Than 25.5 Points

Let’s take advantage of the same circumstance of variance swinging back in favor of the Timberwolves. The Suns haven’t been able to figure out much of Minnesota; even when things went slow for Edwards, the Suns were still blown out of the building. Edwards was a miserable 3-for-12 from the floor and should see similar shot volume — if not more in a closer game.

The Suns are going to put up more of a fight, most likely getting better contributions from role players, but Edwards will have to pick up some slack on his end. The Timberwolves won’t see McDaniels or other role players of their own step up on the road, it’s going to be more of an Edwards-first strategy for Minnesota to get ahead. This is a big game for the Timberwolves to essentially put out the Suns, validating their regular season was far from a fluke. We expect Edwards to bounce back from the floor with plenty of volume to chuck.

DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Anthony Edwards MORE Than 25.5 Points

Naz Reid M/L Than 1.5 3-Pointers Made

The Timberwolves saw Naz Reid launch from deep in their first win, going 2-for-6 from deep in a blowout. The same result from the team went down in Game 2 despite Reid coming back down to reality with an 0-3 night. The Timberwolves had the luxury of guys like Reid and McDaniels taking shots to at least get opportunities to get some buckets. That’s not going to come as easy on the road in the playoffs — it rarely does for role players with minutes in the teens.

Reid will be out there for about 15 to 18 minutes, launch one or two 3’s and stay off the box score with any makes. The Suns see him as no threat, and the Timberwolves need more out of higher impact players. This is a low number that most people will think Reid can clear with volume alone. Shifting to the road team doesn’t bode well for a guy who’s scrambling to take just a handful of shots in general.

DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Naz Reid LESS Than 1.5 3-Pointers Made
