Clippers-Trail Blazers NBA Player Props

Anfernee Simons Prop: O/U 8.5 Rebounds + Assists

Anfernee Simons has proven that he can be a star in this league. At just 23 years old, Simons is averaging 23 points, three rebounds and four assists this season. The Trail Blazers will again be without star point guard Damian Lillard. In seven games without Lillard, Simons has picked up his assists to over six a game and is playing six more minutes. Jerami Grant sees the biggest usage bump without Lillard, while Simons continues to see a 27% usage rate across the board. Tonight Simons will be in line to lead the Blazers at home against a Clippers team that is dealing with its own injuries. Paul George and Kawhi Leonard will be sidelined for this one, and the Blazers come in as 3.5-point favorites.

In their last three games, the Clippers have allowed the second-most assists per game (28). Indiana Pacers young star Tyrese Haliburton dished out 11 assists on Sunday in a Clippers win. Before that game, Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray had nine assists and pulled down six rebounds. The Clippers stout defense has fallen without George in the lineup. They’ve allowed over 110 points in three of their last four games, while the Blazers average 114 points behind their home fans.

Simons has gone over this line in five of seven games without his backcourt mate and will look to push the pace and find Grant in transition or Jusuf Nurkic in the pick-and-roll. Simons is averaging over eight assist opportunities in his last four games and is in line to play upwards of 35 minutes.

Clippers-Trail Blazers Player Prop Bet: Anfernee Simons OVER 8.5 Rebounds + Assists (+104, DraftKings)

Jusuf Nurkic Prop: O/U 15.5 Points

Like Simons, Nurkic has shined without Lillard in the lineup. Nurkic is averaging over 18 points per game without his point guard and has gone over this line in six of eight games. He’s seeing close to 14 field goal attempts per game and will have plenty of opportunities in the post tonight against fellow 7-footer Ivica Zubac.

Zubac and Nurkic have battled in years past. Nurkic scored 31 points against Zubac in their last meeting, which was played without Lillard. The two saw close to 30 minutes, and Nurkic shot 12-for-19 from the field. Grant will be sure to take some shots away from Nurkic, but he’ll get enough volume to cash this prop. Nurkic got to the line eight times on Sunday against the Brooklyn Nets and will stay aggressive in this projected low-scoring game. Nurkic has gone over this line in six straight games and will look to put on a show on TNT.

Clippers-Trail Blazers Prop Bet: Jusuf Nurkic OVER 15.5 Points -104 (FanDuel)
