Jamal Murray H/L Than 21.5 Points

Jamal Murray put up 28 points in Game 5 despite a rough shooting night—10-of-27 from the field (37%) and just 3-of-13 from deep. He made up some ground by going 5-for-5 at the line, but it clearly wasn’t him most efficient game.

Nevertheless – he found ways to contribute and I expect he’ll do the same this evening whether he’s consistently making shots or not.

If the Nuggets want to stay alive, they’ll need their second star to deliver at a higher level. Because while Jokic remains the focal point, OKC will gladly live with Murray running the show if it means keeping the ball out of the MVP’s hands.

Look for Murray to step up and play more aggressively in this elimination environment with the home crowd behind him.

Underdog Fantasy Pick’em Prediction: Jamal Murray Higher Than 21.5 Points

Chet Holmgren H/L Than 9.5 Rebounds

Matching up against the best center in the league every other night is no easy task—but that’s exactly what 23-year-old Chet Holmgren is facing.

Even with the challenge, Holmgren has held his own, averaging 13.4 points and just under 11 rebounds in the series. But his minutes have been a bit unpredictable, largely due to the presence of fellow big man Isaiah Hartenstein.

The Thunder have leaned on both to help contain Jokic, and when they share the floor, Hartenstein often cuts into Holmgren’s rebounding volume—as we saw in Games 1 and 5.

Plus, Stokastic’s NBA DFS Projections have Holmgren pulling down just 8 boards tonight.
