Aaron Judge 62 Home Run Chase: Betting Odds Still Favor Yankees Slugger to Top Roger Maris

New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge is still just one home run away from passing Roger Maris’ American League record of 61 home runs in a single season. However, Judge remained stuck on 61 throughout last weekend’s three game series with the Baltimore Orioles.

With the Yankees preparing to to finish their season with a four game series against the Texas Rangers, Judge’s betting odds indicate that there’s still plenty of confidence in him hitting one more home run to break the record.

Aaron Judge Betting Odds To hit 62 Home Runs

Per DraftKings, Judge is currently still -255 to hit #62, and +200 to stay at 61 for the remainder of the MLB season.

Yankees fans booed and chanted curse words at Orioles pitchers on Sunday after the slugger went 0-2 with two walks and a hit-by-pitch. Still, the pitchers would not admit that they were pitching around Judge to avoid being on the wrong end of history.

“Whenever you face a lineup with that type of hitter, there’s one batter that you don’t want to beat you,’’ starting pitcher Austin Voth said to The Post. “So, you attack him with nobody on base and if somebody’s and then you’re a little bit more careful.’’Voth said. “So, you attack him with nobody on base and if somebody’s and then you’re a little bit more careful.’’

Voth conceded that he was well aware about the home run chase when going after Judge throughout the matchup.

“He’s having an awesome season, man, but at the end of the day I’ve got to be the guy that gets him out somehow,’’ Voth said. “I’ve got to find a way — any way possible. Our game plan was mostly to pitch away, which is what you saw today. We thought that if we pitched him away for the most part, we could limit the damage he could do.”

Judge and Yankees fans are hoping that he gets more pitches to hit against the Rangers. The series kicks off on Monday night when the Rangers will start with left-hander Martin Perez on the bump to face off against Judge.

He’s is currently +230 to hit a home run in the game.
