Gabe Davis Fantasy Football Last-Minute Replacements: K.J. Osborn, Isaiah McKenzie & Emergency Fill-Ins on MNF

The Buffalo Bills will indeed be without starting wide receiver Gabe Davis when they meet the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football.

With just hours until kickoff, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that Davis will likely be out with a nagging ankle injury for the Monday night game barring something unforeseen. He was later ruled inactive.

Of course, this means that the fantasy football managers who kept Davis in their lineups while holding out hope that he’d be available are now scrambling to find last-minute replacements.

Let’s take a look at some lesser-owned options in leagues.

K.J. Osborn & Isaiah McKenzie Could Be Late Replacement Options For Gabe Davis

Given the injury to Davis, Bills quarterback Josh Allen may look to target Isaiah McKenzie more in Week 2.

In their first game against the Los Angeles Rams, McKenzie was targeted just there times on the evening, but was able to notch two receptions for 15 yards and a touchdown. He also gets carries in the Bills’ offense, rushing twice for five yards last Thursday night.

Being as there are two games on Monday night, perhaps there’s other options to fill-in for Davis, as well. Another name available on most fantasy football waiver wires is Vikings receiver KJ Osborn.

Osborn had five targets during the win over the Green Bay Packers during Week 1. He had three receptions for just 14 yards during the appearance, but is expected to have much more of an impact during the Monday night game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Per our DFS projections, McKenzie is listed as a potential high-value play given the injury to Davis, with Osborn closely followed on the list for the Monday night slate. Those projections could be useful to fantasy football managers making last-minute adds as well.Find up-to-date ownership projections here.

On ESPN fantasy leagues, Osborn is rostered in just 4.9% of leagues, with McKenzie rostered in 18.2%.
