Saints vs. Buccaneers Weather Report: Conditions Could Help Get a Star Player Going

The New Orleans Saints will travel to Tampa Bay for an NFC South showdown on Monday Night Football. Ahead of the matchup with two struggling offenses, let’s take a look at the Saints-Buccaneers weather report and see if conditions may factor into the game.

Saints-Buccaneers Weather Report

According to The Weather Channel, it will be a picture-perfect night in Tampa Bay to finish the Week 13 slate. Not only is there less than a 5% chance of any rain, but the wind is supposed to remain minimal and the temperatures in the low 70s, meaning it won’t be too hot or humid for football either.

The weather report will be a welcome sight for both the Saints and Buccaneers too because they can’t afford any more obstacles to their offenses. In Week 12, the Saints struggled mightily against a tough San Francisco 49ers defensive unit, losing a snoozer, 13-10. In that game, quarterback Andy Dalton completed 18 of 29 passes for 209 yards, but the running game could never get going with Alvin Kamara. He ran just seven times for 13 yards but was able to haul in six receptions for 37 yards. They’ll likely need Kamara to get out of his funk. In his last four games, he’s had fantasy scores of just 7, 12.9, 7.5 and 9.2. He’ll now be going up against a Buccaneers defense that allows the sixth-fewest points to opposing running backs.

Tampa Bay has also been notoriously struggling all season long, ranking 27th in the league with just 18.2 points per game. After scoring just 17 points in an overtime loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 12, Tom Brady was hardly in the mood to talk about the struggles of his unit.

“I’m on to the Saints,” Brady said to Tampa Bay Times when asked about the Buccaneers’ final series in regulation. “I’m not thinking about last week.”

Brady and the Buccaneers will hope to get back to their winning ways against a Saints team that allows over 21 points per game. They’ll also be on home soil without any winter weather to worry about.

Per DraftKings, the Buccaneers are currently a 3.5-point favorites, with the over/under set at just 41.
