Best 49ers-Seahawks Props

Geno Smith OVER 21.5 Pass Completions -115 (BetMGM)

Geno Smith looks to be a lock to win AP NFL Comeback Player of the Year. He’s -600 on DraftKings Sportsbook and looks to be the franchise quarterback for the coming years of the Seahawks. He has led the Seahawks to a 7-6 record and fighting distance in the NFC. Smith and the Seahawks will have their hands full with the San Francisco 49ers defense, as it is regarded as the best in the league. With that being said, the best prop to attack is Smith’s pass completions, as he leads the league in completion percentage and is top 10 incompletions per game.

Smith and the Seahawks have plenty of weapons on offense to compete with the 49ers’ lethal defense. Wide receivers D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett have built a core with Smith that is top of the league. Both receivers rank in the top 20 in yards receiving and receptions and will receive a ton of work on Thursday night, as rookie running back Kenneth Walker III is dealing with an ankle injury. Seattle has thrown the ball on 67% of their plays in its last three games which is top 5 in the league during that span. With how stout the 49ers run defense is, the Seahawks will look to put the ball in Smith’s hands to lead them to victory.

Smith completed 24 passes against the 49ers in Week 2 and has cashed this prop in 9 of 13 games this season. The 49ers allow the 13th-most completions per game and are fresh off allowing 34 completions to Tom Brady due to the 49ers running out to an early lead. As 3-point underdogs and with a struggling defense, the Seahawks could find themselves throwing early and often.

D.K. Metcalf OVER 0.5 Touchdowns +180 (DraftKings)

D.K. Metcalf has been a menace all season long. He has a touchdown in 6 of 13 games, with five coming in the red zone. The 49ers have plenty of injuries in their secondary and could be exposed by Metcalf’s 6-foot-4 frame. He has a rich history against the 49ers, scoring a touchdown in at least one game against the 49ers in each of his first three seasons in the league.
