Devin Singletary vs. Jakobi Meyers: Which Player Ranks as a Better Flex Play For Fantasy Football & DFS Ahead of TNF?

With Thursday Night Football quickly approaching, fantasy players are looking at some of the most crucial roster decisions for the week ahead. Let’s dive into tonight’s matchup to find the best Bills-Patriots fantasy football and DFS plays tonight. We’ll be focusing on two offensive options to compare Devin Singletary vs. Jakobi Meyers to see who has the better fantasy football ranking, and which one makes the better flex play this week.

Devin SingletaryJakobi Meyers Fantasy Football & DFS Rankings

Per our Stokastic weekly fantasy football rankings, Devin Singletary ranks as the No. 22 running back on the board for Week 13. Jakobi Meyers is in the same exact spot in our receiver rankings. With our player compare tool, Meyers projects for 12.62 fantasy points, and Singletary projects for 12.11 points.

Our expert DFS projections can make the Meyers/Singletary decision easier, at least for DFS. Using our tools, Meyers ($7,200 on DraftKings) projects as a slightly better option than Singletary ($7,000, DraftKings) for Thursday’s primetime island slate.

Meyers was originally listed as questionable for Thursday night with a shoulder injury, but is expected to suit up. He has been the Patriots most reliable receiver this year, leading the team in receptions (47), receiving yards (571) and touchdowns (3). He’ll also have the luxury of going up against a Bills secondary that has ranks 25th in fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers.

For Devin Singletary, the Thursday Night Football matchup may be a little bit tougher. The Bills primary running back has been reliable when called upon, but has been hindered by the pass-first approach centered around quarterback Josh Allen. Despite a solid 4.5 yards per carry, Singletary has not been given over 20 carries in any games this season, and that likely won’t change against a Patriots the second-least fantasy points to opposing running backs. If anything, the Patriots have struggled to hold opposing quarterbacks in the pocket, which could grant Josh Allen opportunities to run on his own.

Singletary’s value looks limited for Thursday, making Jakobi Meyers a slightly better play. Feel free to use our DFS player compare page for any more roster questions you have for the remainder of the season.
