Eagles-Buccaneers Player Prop Pick

Baker Mayfield Prop

Let’s get weird, shall we? I’m backing the Eagles secondary to come to life and pick off Baker Mayfield on Monday Night Football — a prop that has cashed in six of eight of Mayfield’s home games this season.

These two teams look a lot different than they did in Week 3 when they faced off against each other. The Eagles were for one healthy and took care of business, but it wasn’t pretty. They settled for three field goals but possessed the ball for 39 minutes and picked off Mayfield. That hasn’t been the case lately. The Eagles offense has spiraled due to poor play-calling and injuries piling up, and A.J. Brown will be inactive for this contest.

The Buccaneers, on the other hand, have found their calling — kind of. They squeaked by the woeful Panthers last week to secure the NFC South title. Mayfield is dealing with an ankle injury and discomfort to his ribs, but he’ll be ready to go on Monday Night. The Buccaneers will try to get the run game going with Rachaad White against an Eagles front seven that was sensational in the beginning of the season but has been torched as of late. Nonetheless, I’m expecting Mayfield to have to throw the ball a ton, as the Buccaneers are 2.5-point underdogs and the Eagles defense may come to life in a win-or-go-home game.

As you can see from the image to the right, courtesy of OddsShopper’s tools, FanDuel is showing value on Mayfield to throw an interception at -112, while the rest of the books are coming in at -120.

Eagles-Buccaneers Anytime Touchdown Scorer Pick

FanDuel is offering a starting running back behind one of the best offensive lines in football with odds of +220 to score a touchdown. D’Andre Swift is our top anytime touchdown scorer bet for Eagles-Buccaneers.

The last time we saw Swift in action was in Week 17 against the Arizona Cardinals, where he had just one carry inside the red zone. The week before that, Swift had three carries inside the 20 on Christmas Day, scored a touchdown and nearly had a second one to start the game.

Even without Brown, the Eagles offense can move down the field and put solid drives together. The real question is how often Jalen Hurts will steal carries from Swift. Nonetheless, we’re getting odds of +200, while other major books are down to +165 and +145.
