Lions vs. Jets Weather Report: Zach Wilson Return Muddled By Iffy Conditions?

Will Zach Wilson face weather concerns in his return as the New York Jets starter for the Week 15 matchup against the Detroit Lions? Ahead of the tilt, let’s take a look at the Lions-Jets weather report.

Lions-Jets Weather Report

Per The Weather Channel, things look relatively mild in the New York area for the duration of the game on Sunday afternoon. According to the forecast in East Rutherford, New Jersey, it’s supposed to remain cloudy but dry throughout the day, with temperatures ranging from 35-40 degrees.

The clear weather report should be a welcomed sigh for Wilson, too, as the young quarterback will be looking to make the most of his opportunity to get back into the starting lineup.

Wilson began the season as the QB1, but after failing to look like he had made a jump from year one to year two, head coach Robert Saleh opted to replace Wilson with backup Mike White. In his three starts, White has thrown for an impressive 952 to go along with three touchdowns and two interceptions. He was ruled out earlier in the week with a fractured rib, opening the door for Wilson to regain his role.

Editor Note: No matter how you feel about the Lions-Jets weather report, we thought it wise to point out a nifty option for bettors. FanDuel is currently running a variety of promos which allows bettors to find value in varying ways and different sorts of plays.

“Zach’s been doing a great job,” Saleh said via Yahoo. “He’s been deliberate in his approach over the last three weeks. He’s been holding himself accountable with regard to how he wants to attack practice, how he’s been performing in practice. Going against our defense, which I think is a pretty good defense to go against, and working on all the different things we’ve been asking him to accomplish.”

When speaking to the media earlier in the week, Zach Wilson exerted confidence that the was still the quarterback of the future for the Jets, and he’ll have a prime opportunity to make a case for himself on Sunday.

Per DraftKings, the Jets are currently a 1.5-point favorite over the Lions, with the over/under set at 44.
