Hall’s rushing numbers in his last two years at college were impressive. He combined for over 650 yards on the ground while running a 4.6 at the NFL combine. He’ll look to put the NFL on notice with the first primetime start of his career and showcase his legs against a Packers defense that has let up their fair share of work on the ground to the quarterback position. Tommy DeVito ran for over 70 yards earlier this month, while Patrick Mahomes also went over his rushing line.
Jayden Reed Over 52.5 Receiving Yards
Jayden Reed will become a household name in his league; remember that. Reed, a rookie out of Michigan State, has slowly become Jordan Love’s favorite target with the injury cycle to Christian Watson. He’s been held under this line in the last few weeks, but it’s not due to a lack of opportunities. He’s reeled in eight and six catches in the last two weeks and at least five targets in all five games. Earlier this season, he put up 83 yards through the air against the Vikings. I expect more of the same with the Packers as a pick’em on the road.
Aaron Jones Under 52.5 Rushing Yards
To those waiting for Aaron Jones this season to erupt, it finally happened last week. The elite back ran for 127 yards on 21 attempts. But that came against the Carolina Panthers with the Packers in a positive game script. I don’t see that happening tonight. The Vikings are an elite run defense that has allowed the ninth fewest rushing yards in the league. With a brutal matchup and Jones not having a great season, this is a great spot to fade him.
