Rams-Lions Player Prop Pick

Matthew Stafford Prop

For the Sunday nightcap, we’re targeting quarterback Matthew Stafford, who will be playing in his first game in Detroit since spending his first 12 seasons in the NFL there.

Finding +EV spots in the NFL is crucial to becoming a profitable sports bettor. I’m here with another one, as BetMGM and FanDuel are way off in prices for this prop. The top player prop bet for Rams-Lions on Sunday Night Football is Stafford to have more passing yards than Jared Goff.

FanDuel is one of the sharpest sportsbooks; there’s not much of a debate on that. So when they have a juiced line, particularly priced at -148 while other major books have -120, something has to give. BetMGM is the best spot to back Stafford to have the most passing yards. DraftKings has yet to release this line, but be on the lookout for it, as they tend to have game leaders props available.

Both quarterbacks are playing their former teams and will have the juices flowing. But both teams have reliable run games that they can lean on. This game will be a test of what defense can get stops. The Lions rank in the top 5 in time of possession, while the Rams are just outside the top 10. I like the upside of Stafford getting the reins to throw the ball all over the field, and he’s thrown for at least 275 yards in four of his last five games. Goff, on the other hand, has thrown for less than 275 yards in three of five.

As you can see from the image to the right, courtesy of OddsShopper’s tools, I’d advise backing Stafford’s longest completion if you don’t have the first prop available.

Rams-Lions Anytime Touchdown Scorer Pick

We have plenty of ways to go for our top touchdown pick in Rams-Lions. With a total of 52.5 and everybody but three players being plus money to score, there is potential of hitting a big one. Tonight we’re targeting Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson, who has been a top target for Stafford down the field lately.

Robinson has caught a pass of at least 20 yards in the last five games that he has played, including back-to-back games of reeling in one of at least 30 yards. Defenses are homing in on Puka Nacua down the field and Cooper Kupp in the slot, which has left Robinson single-covered. From a touchdown perspective, Robinson has found the end zone four times this season, with them all coming in his last six games.

You can find Robinson to score +340 on ESPNBet, while Caesars has him as low as +240.
