NFL Thursday Night Football Odds and Props: No House Advantage

Thursday Night Football brings the potential for a fun game this week with the Buccaneers hosting the Ravens. We also have another opportunity to dig into the props on No House Advantage. There are two types of contests to play, “Pick ‘Em” and “Vs The House.” Here are some of the more appealing options among them. Let’s dive into our best TNF props including Lamar Jackson and Chris Godwin. For all the latest NFL odds, check out our OddsShopper Tool.

NFL Thursday Night Football Odds and Props: No House Advantage

Lamar Jackson: Under 226.5 Passing Yards

Jackson was quiet during the Ravens’ Week 7 victory over the Browns. He remained productive on the ground, carrying the ball 10 times for 59 yards. However, he only attempted 16 passes, finishing with 120 passing yards and no touchdowns. He was actually outproduced by Jacoby Brissett, who threw for 258 yards.

Lamar Jackson gets a lot of work on the ground, producing at least 10 carries in four of seven games. That has contributed to him attempting fewer than 30 passes in a game four times. He’s thrown for fewer than 225 yards in all but one game this season, and the Buccaneers have allowed the sixth-fewest passing yards per game in the league, although they are dealing with some key injuries to their secondary this week. The NFL Player Props Tool has Jackson projected to throw for 205.9 yards. Let’s look at another TNF prop we like.

Gus Edwards: Over 54.5 Rushing Yards

Getting Edwards back last week couldn’t have come at a better time for the Ravens with J.K. Dobbins (knee) landing on IR. Edwards wasn’t eased into things, receiving 16 carries against the Browns. He made the most of them, totaling 66 yards and two scores. Kenyan Drake had 11 carries of his own, but he only turned them into five yards, so he didn’t help his cause for getting more work over Edwards.

The Buccaneers were excellent against the run last season, allowing just 92.5 rushing yards per game. This season, they have allowed 118.3 rushing yards per game. With Edwards having the potential for at least 15 carries, the over here is appealing.

Chris Godwin: Over 5.5 Receptions

In what was a disappointing loss to the Panthers last week, Godwin produced only 43 receiving yards. He’s still looking for his first touchdown catch of the season, and he has yet to record a 100-yard game. On the bright side, he’s healthy, logging a least 89.7 percent of the Buccaneers’ offense snaps the last two games.

Although Chris Godwin has produced some muted yardage totals, it’s not for a lack of involvement. He’s been targets at least 10 times in a game three times, and he’s recorded at least six receptions in four straight games. Since we’re just worried about his receptions here, let’s go with the over. The NFL Player Props Tool has Godwin projected to finish with 6.2 receptions. Let’s look at our final TNF prop to consider.

Devin Duvernay: Over 30.5 Receiving Yards

The Ravens’ passing game relies heavily on the one-two punch of tight end Mark Andrews and wide receiver Rashod Bateman. They don’t have much depth at receiver behind Bateman, which has left Duvernay to be more involved. After receiving only 47 targets over 16 games last season, Duvernay has been targeted 28 times through seven games.

With that being said, an average of four-targets per game is nothing to write home about. Duvernay has big-play upside, though, already catching six passes of at least 20 yards. That has helped him record at least 31 receiving yards in a game five times. It could only require a couple of receptions for Duvernay to hit this over.
