Golf Expert Pick #1: Best Alex Noren Bet

Alex Noren is quietly playing fantastic golf right now, and I even like him as an outright bet this week as well. He has a made cut streak that dates back to 2023 and is coming off a ninth at The Classic and a 19th at The Players.

Noren scored a T4 finish in 2023 at this venue. His recent ability to gain strokes in all areas is another positive sign heading into this week. I see no reason why Noren can’t keep it going, and at -120 for a top-30 he is worth getting some exposure to.

Golf Expert Pick #2: Best Jason Day Bet

With Scottie Scheffler on an absolute tear, a lot of what would be my favorite outright plays on a normal week have become top-10 plays instead.

Enter Jason Day, who will be making his fourth appearance at Memorial Park, and it’s been so far, so good with three-straight made cuts including a T16 in 2023 and a T7 in 2021.

The course will play much differently this time around, but his sharp current form combined with his high-iron apex has me thinking that he’ll work his way into contention yet again.

Golf Expert Pick #3: Best Si Woo Kim Bet

Si Woo Kim is playing tremendous golf right now. He comes off a strong performance at the Players and gets to stay on a familiar Bermuda putting surface.

His ability to avoid bogeys and scramble to save par will shine this week in Houston. He has the distance to keep up with bombers and striking to survive the longer Par 4s. I love him at plus money to survive the weekend and finish T20 or better!
