Best NBA Player Props: Bogdan Bogdanovic Getting a Lot of Credit From Vegas

After a busy weekend of basketball, hockey and football, bettors have a loaded nine-game NBA slate to parse through tonight. Donovan Mitchell will face his old team, the Utah Jazz, and the Portland Trail Blazers and Oklahoma City Thunder will square off on NBA TV. With so much action in story, even the sharpest bettors can let the best NBA player props slip through the cracks

Enter Stokastic’s new NBA Bet Pro. Instead of manually sifting through each game to find value, bettors can now sort every prop market by expected ROI. NBA Bet Pro pulls lines from every major sportsbook to help you find the best deal available for that given play. If you’re not convinced, see how much money you make after a free three-day trial of the product.

Stokastic’s NBA Bet Pro model is all over these three NBA player props for Monday.

Today’s Top NBA Player Props | Dec. 19

Pascal Siakam O/U 6.5 Rebounds

The Toronto Raptors need to turn their five-game losing skid around. They’ll face the Philadelphia 76ers tonight, and they may not have either Gary Trent Jr. or O.G. Anunoby for the matchup. Expect Nick Nurse to lean on star big man Pascal Siakam on Monday night.

Since returning from injury, Siakam has averaged 7.4 rebounds per game. He is averaging 8.3 rebounds per game on the season, an improvement over his career average of 6.4. Stokastic’s projections have Siakam securing 8.4 rebounds tonight, well above the prop total set by FanDuel. This bet has a projected win percentage of 62%, better than the 56.5% chance implied by FanDuel’s odds.

Jordan Clarkson O/U 0.5 Steals

The Utah Jazz were not expected to do much this year after shipping off Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell. However, their trades vaulted Jordan Clarkson into the starting five, and the veteran guard has contributed offensively — just not much defensively. Clarkson is averaging 0.4 steals per game and has finished without one in 20 of his 31 starts.

Stokastic’s projections have Clarkson right at his season average for steals — 0.4. With a prop total of 0.5, the under has a projected win rate of 59%. That’s slightly below its actual hit rate of 64.5% but far above BetMGM’s implied odds of just 54.5%. Shorting Clarkson against a slow-paced offense like Cleveland’s feels especially sharp.

Best NBA Player Prop: Jordan Clarkson Under 0.5 Steals (-120) at BetMGM

Bogdan Bogdanovic O/U 20.5 Points

The Atlanta Hawks have dealt with plenty of injuries this year. Bogdan Bogdanovic missed most of the start of the year but has played in seven of Atlanta’s last eight contests. He is averaging 19.3 points per game in that limited sample, well above his career average of 14.4 and his Atlanta average of 15.8. Stokastic’s projections have him scoring 17.6 points tonight, much closer to what Hawks fans are used to seeing out of him.

But the sportsbooks disagree. Unibet has set Bogdanovic’s prop total all the way up at 20.5, which is a number he has cleared in just three of his eight appearances this year. Stokastic’s projections give the under a protected win rate of 56%, better than the 51.7% chance implied by Unibet’s line of -107.
