Best Suns-Warriors Odds and Predictions: Top 2 Teams in the West Face Off in Phoenix (October 25)

The Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns will face off for the first time this season in Phoenix on Tuesday night. The Suns opened as 3.0-point home favorites in a game with a total of 224.5. The line has come down slightly to Suns -2.5 but the total went up 1 point to 225.5. Both teams were on rest last night and it looks like both are fully healthy. Let’s dive deeper into Suns – Warriors prediction and odds. Bettors should head to DraftKings sportsbook to tail the following Warriors-Suns odds.

Best Suns-Warriors Prediction and Odds

Suns Open 2-1 Off Strong Win at the Clippers

The Suns were the best team in the NBA regular season last year with a 64-18 record and also had the best home record at 32-9. But everything came crashing down in Game 7 against the Mavericks in which they lost 123-90. Much has been made about Deandre Ayton and head coach Monty Williams not even communicating during the whole off-season. But based on their early start, it looks like the Suns have been able to regroup.

Phoenix is 2-1 coming off a strong road win at the Clippers 112-95 Sunday night albeit with Kawhi Leonard and John Wall on a minutes restriction. They hammered Los Angeles in the first half to a 61-41 result, holding them to just 1-for-12 from 3-point range.

They backed that up with a home win against Dallas 107-105 and a close 113-111 overtime loss at Portland. The biggest question for the Suns is how they will react to one of the worst playoff losses in NBA history against the Mavericks. They were headed for a Western Conference final showdown with Golden State and that never happened.

Warriors Offense is Hot

The Warriors have started 2-1 on the season, but their offense is already in high octane mode leading the NBA with 125.3 points per game and first in pace at 109.5.  All 3 of the Warriors games have gone way over the total.

Last year, the Warriors played most of the season without a full cast and were even 12-15 leading up to their NBA championship run. Now the entire band is back together, but there is also the Draymond Green/Jordan Poole situation that looks to have been dealt with.

Final Suns-Warriors Odds & Pick

Getting the NBA’s best team at home and overall last year at just -2.5 feels like great value. The Suns need to come out with a huge chip on their shoulder based on how last year finished. Getting the Warriors at home this early in the season is the best way for the Suns to show everyone they are still the team in the West.

The first half total was just too heavily weighted (116) vs. the full game total (225), and the Suns will win the game in high-scoring fashion.

Suns-Clippers Picks: Suns -2.5 (DraftKings -105); OVER 225.5 (DraftKings -110)
