NBA No House Advantage Player Props: Christian Wood on Scoring Streak

NBA No House Advantage – Best NBA Player Props

James Harden, PHI vs. DET: Over 7.5 Assists

Despite going to overtime against the Raptors on Monday, the 76ers only scored 104 points. Harden finished with just 14, shooting 5-for-14 from the field. However, he still helped set up his teammates, recording eight assists over 42 minutes. That marked his fifth straight game with at least eight assists, and he is averaging 11.2 assists per game since returning from a foot injury.

The Raptors are a versatile defensive team, so it’s not a huge surprise that the 76ers had some issues on the offensive end. The same can’t be said for the Pistons, who have the second-worst defensive rating in the league. They could also have tired legs since they just played Tuesday. There is some blowout risk here that could lead to Harden spending added time on the bench in the fourth quarter, but if it gets to that point, Harden will likely have played a key role as a facilitator along the way.

Jordan Poole, GS at BKN: Over 22.5 Points

The Warriors are going to have to get by without Stephen Curry (shoulder), who is expected to be out for at least a month. Luckily for them, they have another very capable scoring guard in Poole waiting in the wings. He has started each of the last three games since Curry went down, and he scored at least 26 points in each game.

This will be the second game of a back-to-back set for the Warriors, so not only will Curry be sidelined, but the team has already said that Klay Thompson will sit out for rest. Andrew Wiggins (groin) also isn’t ready to return, robbing the Warriors of three of their top scorers. Poole is going to shoot at will in this game, making the over the way to go here.

Julius Randle, NY vs. TOR: Over 18.5 Points

With the Knicks blowing out the Warriors on Tuesday, Randle only needed to play 30 minutes, leaving him with a modest 15 points. That ended his streak of six straight games with at least 19. During that six-game stretch, he averaged 28.2 points over 36 minutes per game.

Randle’s increase in playing time and production coincides with the absence of Obi Toppin (lower leg). While he wasn’t a starter for the Knicks, Toppin was averaging 17 minutes per game off the bench. The Knicks don’t have many viable options at power forward behind Randle right now, so in a game that should be much closer, look for him to play enough to hit the over.

Christian Wood, DAL at MIN: Over 15.5 Points

These two teams just played each other Monday in what was a 10-point win for the Timberwolves. Wood started his second straight game, producing 15 points and 13 rebounds. His scoring number could have been higher had he not shot just 1-for-5 from behind the arc. That was a rare struggle for him given that he has shot 39.1% on 3-pointers for the season.

Prior to Monday’s down scoring night, Wood had scored at least 20 points in three straight games. The Mavericks are dealing with injuries up front and will have to play this rematch without Maxi Kleber (hamstring) and Dorian Finney-Smith (hip). If Wood can get back on track from behind the arc, he could blow by this total.
