Over his last five games, Dinwiddie has recorded 7.2 assists per game and has really looked comfortable facilitating the basketball. He’s had five or more assists in seven of his last 10 outings, and he’s averaged 12 potential assists per game over that span.
Dinwiddie is playing solid minutes (31.6 minutes per game), and when games are competitive, he’s usually playing upwards of 38 minutes. Tonight he and the Mavericks are set to face the Minnesota Timberwolves, who give up the third-most assists per game (26.5) in the NBA and are allowing nearly 14 assists per game to guards.
