This prop is a perfect example of the importance of line shopping. Vucevic under 11.5 rebounds has -103 True Odds thanks to a 51% expected win rate, and yet industrywide the odds swing pretty heavily from -115 (PointsBet) all the way to plus money. Sharp book Pinnacle has this at -113.
You can double your bet with a win at ESPN BET and bet365 (+100, about 1% +EV), but BetMGM edges them out with +105 odds — there Vucevic’s under is 3.8% positive.
Plus money and a better-than-51% chance of winning almost always make for a worthwhile bet. Some may be turned off by Vucevic grabbing 12-plus in two of the last three and the Trail Blazers being a mediocre rebounding team, but they are also pretty slow despite being made up of a handful of young chuckers.
Deandre Ayton is also on a rebounding heater right now, averaging 13.7 over his last 11 games and 15 over his last five. This could actually be a pretty tough matchup for Vucevic and the Bulls up front, and it would not be a surprise if Andre Drummond gets a little more run.
