College Football Playoff No House Advantage: It’s Max Duggan Time

The College Football Playoff arrives on Saturday and some of the biggest names in the sport will be taking the stage as we inch closer to crowning a National Champion. As Georgia looks to repeat as champs, there are three other teams who are strong enough to challenge them at the top when it is all said and done. As some of the best props for the weekend are looked at for these semi-finals, playing No House Advantage is a great way to earn prizes as all of the biggest names in these matchups will be playing key roles in their team’s performance on Saturday.

No House Advantage College Football Playoff Player Props

Max Duggan: UNDER 237.5 Passing Yards

It has been a sensational year for TCU quarterback Max Duggan. He earned himself as spot as a Heisman finalist and guided TCU to a playoff spot. The Horned Frogs look to bounce back as they suffered a loss to Kansas State in the Big 12 Championship game, but the ultimate goal is still in play. While Duggan has dominated, his work may be cut out for him as TCU faces an elite Michigan defense on Saturday.

The Wolverines rank 19th in the FBS in pass yards allowed per game and because of this, TCU will still need to establish a run game if they want to stay competitive. With Max Duggan projected for 232.23 yards passing by OddsShopper, look towards the under of 237.5 passing yards by the TCU quarterback in this matchup. The Horned Frogs have faced some strong defenses, but nothing like what they will see on Saturday from Michigan.

J.J. McCarthy: OVER 16.5 Rushing Yards

While the Michigan Wolverines have shown to be one of the best teams in the country in all phases, J.J. McCarthy has been a key difference maker on this offense. After winning the starting quarterback job after the first couple weeks, McCarthy hasn’t looked back, and the Wolverines are back in the playoff primed to make a run at the title.

While McCarthy has gotten the job done as a passer, he has also made plays as a runner when needed. The sophomore quarterback is projected 28.10 rushing yards on Saturday against a TCU defense who ranks 68th in the country in rushing yards allowed per game. Look towards the over of 16.5 rushing yards from McCarthy as he will likely have to improvise on the ground throughout the contest.

Miyan Williams: OVER 67.5 Rushing Yards

If Ohio State wants a chance against the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday, they are going to have to do so with a balanced attack from their offense. While Ohio State has a prolific passing game, running back Miyan Williams has gotten the job done on the ground.

Even with Ohio State experiencing injuries from their running back room, Williams has stepped up throughout the season and he will be a key difference maker in this contest on Saturday. Williams has rushed for 817 yards, and he has had four games with over 100 yards rushing. The explosive numbers have been there, and Georgia’s defense will have to stay honest against this offensive attack from the Buckeyes.

There is no question that Georgia is elite, and Ohio State has more questions than answers after their loss against Michigan. While Williams is projected 67.82 rushing yards against Georgia on Saturday, look at the over of 67.5 rushing yards out of the junior as Ohio State will look to establish a run game to get the rest of their offense involved.
