2022 NFL Comeback Player of the Year Odds: Saquon Barkley’s Line Rising Following Dominant Performance

It’s safe to say that Saquon Barkley is officially back to the player we grew accustomed to seeing earlier in his career.

During an upset win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday afternoon, the New York Giants running back had 164 yards and one touchdown on the ground to go along with six catches for 30 yards in the passing game.

Barkley has dealt with ACL and ankle injuries over the past two years, making him a prime candidate to win the Comeback Player of the Year Award this season. Sure enough, his betting line is moving following his dominant Week 1 performance.

Per DraftKings, Barkley is now just +600 to win Comeback Player of the Year. Check out the full odds below:

Barkley is also now at +1800 to win the Offensive Player of the Year Award and +20000 to win the MVP Award.

Even after facing criticism that he could ever regain his previous form, Barkley never lost confidence in his ability.

“We got the best back in the league, and he showed it today,” said receiver Sterling Shepard on Sunday, via NY Post. “There’s nothing else to be said.

“I love the way he’s been running the ball in practice, and he brought it straight to the game field. I’m so proud of him because he’s been working his ass off. He deserves everything, and I can’t wait to see him the rest of the season. This is a great start for him.”
