NFL Week 10 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups: Jeff Wilson Jr., Rachaad White and Latavius Murray

After being more involved in their offenses in Week 9, running backs Jeff Wilson Jr., Latavius Murray and Rachaad White are all drawing interest on the fantasy football waiver wire heading into Week 10.

With bye weeks for the New England Patriots, Cincinnati Bengals, New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens, let’s take a look at Wilson, White and Murray as potential waiver wire claims.

Jeff Wilson Jr., Rachaad White & Latavius Murray Potential Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups

In Week 9, Wilson got acclimated with the Dolphins offense after being traded ahead of last week’s deadline. Wilson ended the game against the Bears leading the team with 10 carries for 51 yards and a score. He also caught three passes for 21 yards. As he gets more acclimated in head coach Mike McDaniel’s system, expect Wilson to get even more looks ahead of Raheem Mostert.

Rookie Rachaad White has been an active name for the past few weeks as he continues to get more playing time over veteran Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette. In their win over the Los Angeles Rams, White carried the ball eight times to Fournette’s nine. He also saw his snap count rise to 35%. In a defensive battle on Sunday, Fournette was last in the NFL with just 2.1 yards per carry, and has been trending down in that department. He has now had three straight weeks rushing under 3.0 yards per attempt. Even though it might anger the veteran back (who has proven his worth in the biggest games for the past two years), expect White to continue to cut into Fournette’s workload for the remainder of the season.

In a similar situation, Latavius Murray has been coming on as the lead back for the Denver Broncos. Before their bye week, Murray was utilized much more than Melvin Gordon in their 21-17 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Murray logged 14 carries for 46 yards and a TD. Fournette had just nine carries for 29 yards and a touchdown. After the Trade Deadline, the Broncos will now be adding running back Chase Edmonds to the fold, but it’s still hard to imagine Murray won’t be given his fair share of looks given the production he’s had.
