Every season has one week where perception and reality start to drift apart. That’s this week. You’ll see teams being overvalued because of one flashy win and others completely written off because of one bad quarter.
That’s where we make our money. So let’s get into a few of my favorite Week 6 bets before the lines move.
Seahawks +1.5 at Jaguars
I’ll take the Seahawks as a small road dog all day here. Jacksonville’s stock is sky high after that emotional win over the Chiefs, but that’s exactly when I like to fade them. The market overreacts, and people forget the other side can play too.
Seattle’s offense is still dangerous, its defense is underrated, and this is the spot where public sentiment gets burned. I’ve already played Seattle +1.5; I don’t expect that line to be around long.
Steelers -4.5 vs. Browns
This one was an instant bet for me. Steelers are -4.5 at home off a bye, facing a Browns team returning from a London trip. That’s one of my favorite situational spots of the year.
Pittsburgh’s defense is getting healthy again. Alex Highsmith and Joey Porter Jr. are back, and that pass rush should make life miserable for Cleveland. Meanwhile, Mike Tomlin with extra prep time is a dangerous combination.
I jumped on this line early to get closing line value, and it’s already up on my Tails feed.
