NFL Week 6 Prop Bets from No House Advantage: Evans, Pierce, Ryan and Ertz all Have Strong Over Props (October 16)

We have some teams on a bye in Week 6, but there are still plenty of exciting options to consider on No House Advantage. There are two types of contests to play, “Pick ‘Em” and “Vs The House.” There are quite a few props to choose from on No House Advantage, but let’s analyze the best plays on the board this week.

NFL Week 6 Odds and Props: No House Advantage

Mike Evans Over 69.5 Receiving Yards

The Buccaneers were tested late by the Falcons in Week 5, but they hung on for the victory. Evans was once again productive, catching four of eight targets for 81 yards. He also came up a yard short from scoring another touchdown, which would have been his fourth of the season. He’s played three full games this year, posting at least 71 receiving yards in each of them.

Things are lining up for Evans to produce yet another juicy stat line. Week 6 brings a matchup with the Steelers, who have allowed the second-most passing yards per game in the league. Don’t be surprised if Evans blows past the over here.

Alec Pierce Over 47.5 Receiving Yards

The Colts have one of the more talented young receivers in the league in Michael Pittman Jr., but they need someone to help take some of the pressure off of him. They’re hoping that someone is Pierce, who they selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Unfortunately for Pierce and the team, his career didn’t get off to a roaring start with him missing Week 2 because of a concussion.

Pierce was only forced to miss the one game with the injury, and he’s been productive since making his return. He recorded 61 receiving yards against the Chiefs in Week 3, and he’s had at least 80 receiving yards in both the last two games. Just as exciting is that he received a total of 15 targets over the last two games. Given this modest number, the over is very appealing.

Matt Ryan Over 0.5 Interceptions

The Colts hoped that bringing in Ryan would finally give them stability at the quarterback position. However, the initial returns have not been great. They are 2-2-1, with Ryan throwing for just five total touchdown passes.

Ryan has been especially poor at limiting turnovers, throwing at least one interception in four of five games. In total, he’s been picked off seven times. More turnovers could be coming against the Jaguars, who intercepted him three times in Week 2.

Zach Ertz, Arizona Cardinals: Over 48.5 Receiving Yards

Ertz has been busy for the Cardinals, which is not a surprise with DeAndre Hopkins still suspended. Week 1 was a bit of disappoint with Ertz receiving just four targets, although he caught one of them for a touchdown. Since then, he has received at least 10 targets in three of four games. That has propelled him to record at least six catches in all four games.

Despite his high target share, Ertz has only hit the over on this prop one time this season. However, this matchup works heavily in his favor. The Seahawks have allowed the seventh-most passing yards per game in the league, and they have allowed a league high 456 receiving yards to tight ends. The NFL Player Props Tool has Ertz projected to finish with 48.5 receiving yards, and I’m leaning towards the over.
