George Kirby H/L Than 5.5 Hits Allowed
His 4.22 ERA may not appear incredibly appealing, but when you dig deeper at his underlying metrics, Kirby is due for some positive regression.
His expected ERA is 3.48 and his xFIP is 3.23 – indicating his results should improve going forward.
He’ll be facing the Detroit Tigers, a teams that’s been rock solid against right handers all season. However, with Kirby’s promise and also recognizing that the wind is blowing in from the outfield at 16 MPH, this could shape out to be a tougher hitting environment for the home team.

Brandon Woodruff H/L Than 17.5 Outs
In his lone start this season – Woodruff was phenomenal, racking up eight strikeouts and just one run throughout six innings pitched.
He can easily replicate that stat line against one of the worst offenses in baseball: the Washington Nationals.
Washington ranks 27th in wOBA (.290) and 26th in wRC+ (84) against right-handed pitching this season. While you’d expect the Brewers to be cautious with Woodruff in just his second start of the year, seeing him toss six strong innings in his debut provides promise for another lengthy outing – especially against a soft Nationals lineup.
