Knicks-Warriors NBA Player Prop

Stephen Curry O/U 35 Points + Assists

Stephen Curry is off to one of the best starts of his career, averaging nearly 33 points per game, six rebounds and six assists. He’s doing all he can to lead the Warriors back to the postseason, but they are off to a 6-9 start. On Wednesday night, Curry scored a season-high 50 points on 60% shooting, but it resulted in an 11-point loss to the Phoenix Suns. They come into tonight’s game as 7.5-point favorites to the Knicks, who continue their West Coast trip.

Curry and the Warriors have played much better at home this season. They’ve yet to win a game away from the Chase Center, where Curry is averaging close to 34 points per game. Even with his ramped scoring pace, Curry is still finding open teammates, as teams tend to close in on Curry in the paint or off the pick-and-roll. He’s averaging 6.4 assists on 12.4 assist opportunities per game.

The Warriors need to get Klay Thompson going. He’s shooting a career-low 33% from behind the arc and is averaging 15 points per game. Curry will look for Thompson in transition when the duo starts the game together in an effort to get his teammate back on track.

The Knicks under head coach Tom Thibodeau are used to playing slow and having a stellar defense. That has not been the case this season. Led by Jalen Brunson, the Knicks are playing at the eighth-fastest pace and are in the bottom half in defensive efficiency. They’ve struggled to defend point guards all season long, as they allow the eighth-most points to the position. The Knicks are fresh off allowing Most Improved Player candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to score 37 points and dish out eight assists to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 145-135 win.

Curry has gone over this line in five of seven home games and is coming off one of the top performances in the young NBA season. Look for Curry to once again put the Warriors on his back with his sharpshooting and playmaking ability.

Final Knicks-Warriors Player Prop Bet: Stephen Curry OVER 35.5 Pts/Ast (-115, DraftKings)
