NBA No House Advantage – Best NBA Player Props

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL at ORL: Under 12.5 Rebounds

Giannis did not play Saturday in what was the second game of a back-to-back set for the Bucks. It came against a bad Hornets team, and Giannis is not on the injury report for this game, so it was likely just a rest scenario. Prior to getting that day off, he had 40 points over 35 minutes in a loss to the Lakers.

As good as Antetokounmpo has been, this is a high number for him to hit. He is averaging 11.2 rebounds per game for the season and has hauled in 12 or fewer rebounds in eight of his last 10 games. This game also comes with significant blowout potential, which could mean that he spends added time on the bench in the fourth quarter. With those factors in mind, the under is the more appealing option.

Klay Thompson, GS vs. IND: Over 2.5 3-Pointers Made

It hasn’t been a great start to the season for Thompson, who is shooting just 40.3% from the field. He’s averaging just 17.5 points per game, which would be his lowest mark since the 2013-14 season. If there is a bright side, it’s that he hasn’t been a disaster from behind the arc, averaging 3.7 3-pointers per game and hitting them at a rate of 38.0%.

Thompson enters Monday having hit at least three 3-pointers in eight of his last nine games. The Pacers not only have the 10th-worst defensive rating in the league, but they have allowed the sixth-highest 3-point percentage. Add in them potentially having tired legs after playing Sunday, and Thompson has the potential for a productive night from behind the arc.

Alperen Sengün, HOU vs. PHI: Under 15.5 Points

Sengun is a promising young player who could be an important part of the Rockets rebuilding process. After averaging a modest 21 minutes per game during his rookie season, he was expected to play more this season with Christian Wood no longer in town. While he has played more, Sengun is still only averaging 26 minutes per game. Over the Rockets’ last four games, he has logged 24 minutes or fewer three times.

With Sengun still not logging a ton of time on the floor, his production has been inconsistent. Over his last eight games, he has scored 14 or fewer points five times. This is also a difficult matchup for him against Joel Embiid, who could quickly get him into foul trouble. Combine that with the 76ers playing at the fourth-slowest pace in the league, and Sengun might not receive enough opportunities to reach the over.

Bogdan Bogdanovic, ATL vs. OKC: Under 13.5 Points

The Hawks are hurting right now. They are currently down two starters, with John Collins (ankle) and De’Andre Hunter (hip) set to miss multiple games. On the bright side, Bogdanovic made his season debut in their last game against the Celtics. He logged 22 minutes, scoring 5 points on 2-for-9 shooting from the field.

This is a favorable matchup for Bogdanovic since the Thunder play at a fast pace and struggle on defense. However, the Hawks limited Bogdanovic to 22 minutes in his debut, and given his injury history, they will likely keep him limited for at least another game or two. With that in mind, take the under.
