Best PrizePicks NBA Player Props: Nicolas Claxton the Frontcourt Presence Brooklyn Desperately Needs

After a seven-game slate on Monday, there is another mid-sized slate on Tuesday, with five games tipping off between 7:30 and 10 p.m. ET. There are good options all over the board in those five games and a few spots that bettors should take advantage of on PrizePicks. Dillon Brooks, Nicolas Claxton and Spencer Dinwiddie are all intriguing names on tonight’s slate, so let’s see who OddsShopper thinks are good values for the best PrizePicks NBA player props.

Best PrizePicks NBA Player Props Tonight

Dillon Brooks O/U 17.5 Points

Dating back to his years at Oregon, Dillon Brooks has rarely met a shot he didn’t like. He is averaging 15.5 points per game this year, and Brooks finds himself in a really good spot tonight to bump that average up.

After starting off the season pretty slowly, Brooks has picked it up recently, with double-digit points in four straight games. With 40 points combined over just the past two games, Brooks seems to have found his shooting stroke. Desmond Bane is out tonight, so expect Brooks to pick up a bunch of the Grizzlies scoring load

The Pelicans defense ranks 25th in the league against opposing small forwards, so Brooks couldn’t ask to be in a better spot. Brooks averaged 24.0 points last year with Bane out of the lineup and projects for 19.19 tonight. The over here is the obvious play.

Nicolas Claxton O/U 8.5 Rebounds

Nicolas Claxton is averaging 11.9 points and 9.1 rebounds per game for a Nets team that needs inside presence. Projected for 11.04 rebounds tonight, Claxton is in a great spot to surpass his PrizePicks total.

The Kings rank 24th in the league against opposing centers. As such, Claxton projects for over 2.5 more rebounds than his current PrizePicks prop implies. After being forced out of Sunday’s game against the Lakers early with a left eye contusion, Claxton is probable tonight and the over here is the clear way to go.

Spencer Dinwiddie O/U 17.5 Points

Spencer Dinwiddie is averaging 18.5 points per game playing second fiddle to Luka Doncic. He has had at least 20 points in three straight games, and it’s not surprising that Dinwiddie’s PrizePicks prop is all the way up to 17.5 points. He is matched up with the Clippers, however, in what should be a slow-paced game. Because of that, it’s time to sell Dinwiddie at what might be his highest point all season.

While there’s no doubt that Dinwiddie has played really good ball recently, expect his numbers to plateau a bit with Christian Wood back healthy and leading the second unit. Much of Dinwiddie’s recent production came when he was on the court without Doncic, but with Wood now back in the mix, Dinwiddie’s production should surely come down a bit. He is projected for 16.37 points tonight, and PrizePicks is a bit too high on Dinwiddie right now. As a result, ride with the under.
