Gabriel Davis Fantasy Football Replacements: Zay Jones and Ashton Dulin Could Have Value on Waiver Wire in Week 2

The Buffalo Bills could be without star receiver Gabriel Davis for their matchup against the Tennessee Titans for Monday Night Football.

On Saturday night, the Bills still had Davis listed as questionable with an ankle injury. He was a limited participant in practice on Friday.

With some fantasy football managers not willing to risk it by keeping Davis in their lineups, let’s take a look at some potential receiver additions on the waiver wire.

Zay Jones and Ashton Dulin Have Value on Fantasy Football Waiver Wire

Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Zay Jones showed he could prove to be a favorite target of Trevor Lawrence during their Week 1 loss to the Washington Commanders. He hauled in six passes for 65 yards, and was targeted nine times during the game. On our NFL Sit ’em Start ’em Fantasy Football Rankings for Week 2, we have Jones listed as the 49th receiver on our board.

Another potential option on the waiver wire is Indianapolis Colts receiver Ashton Dulin, who will have more opportunity given injuries to Michael Pittman Jr. and Alec Pierce.

“I think you plug your nose and take a chance on the Colts Ashton Dulin or Jacksonville’s Zay Jones. Dulin saw 6 targets and 95 air yards in Week 1 and should be in line for WR1 duties in Indy. Jones (9 targets, air yards in Week 1), was WR7 in expected fantasy points per game, and as usual, we project the Jaguars to be playing from behind and therefore going pass-heavy, for much of the afternoon,” our fantasy football expert Matt Savoca said. Get more of his opinions on this week’s edition of Must Start & Sit WR’s.

As it stands, Jones is rostered in just 9.7% of ESPN fantasy football leagues, with Dulin rostered in just 1.4%.
