Bills vs. Bears Weather Report: Total Moving With Brutal Winter Conditions in Chicago

The Buffalo Bills vs. Chicago Bears Week 16 matchup at Soldier Field gives NFL fans a chance to see how Justin Fields stacks up with a proven star in Josh Allen. But both teams will face a huge obstacle: Mother Nature. Chicago has been dealing with bitter cold temperatures throughout the week, and Saturday afternoon is expected to be no different. Looking at the Bills-Bears weather report, and it’s easy to see why sports books have been continuously moving the betting line.

Bills-Bears Weather Report

Per The Weather Channel, the temperature at kickoff is predicted at 12 degrees, with the “feels like” temperature at a miserable -7 degrees. Winds gusts are expected to reach up to 20 MPH throughout the matchup.

After opening as seven-point underdogs, the Bears are now +8.5 (on DraftKings), with the over/under moving from 45.5 to just 40 before kick. With the line continuously moving, be sure to check the OddsShopper tools to make sure you get the best odds on any given game line, total or prop bet.

While the weather will undoubtedly scare fans away from Soldier Field on Saturday, Bears head coach has embraced the Winter conditions.

“You play this game long enough, and these guys have played it long enough, they’ve all played in wet conditions or snowy conditions, cold, windy, so, you just deal with what you got,” Eberflus said via SI. “Guys will be ready to go.”

The Bears (3-11) come into this game after losing tight battle against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 15 at home, and will hope to remain competitive against another Super Bowl contender in the Bills. They’ll be without several key pieces. The team ruled out cornerback Jaylon Johnson on Friday, who will join the likes of receivers Darnell Mooney, Chase Claypool, Equanimeous St. Brown, as well as offensive lineman Cody Whitehair and Teven Jenkins who are out with injury.

Buffalo (11-3) enters Week 16 on a five-game winning streak, and were able to come away with a 32-29 over the Miami Dolphins in Week 15 despite losing for most of the game.
