Chargers-Colts Player Props for MNF

Austin Ekeler Longest Rush UNDER 13.5 Yards -110 (DraftKings)

Austin Ekeler has been exceptional this season. He’s recorded 70 receptions along with 8 receiving touchdowns. On the ground, it’s a different story. Ekeler averages under 12 carries for an average of 50 yards per game. Over the last 10 games, he’s stayed under 50 yards in 7 of 10 and is finding himself more efficient in the passing game. Ekeler is averaging close to 9 targets per game in his last 10 with at least 7 catches in 6 of those 10. The prop tonight to attack is the under on Ekeler’s longest rush attempt.

Backup running back Joshua Kelley continues to chip into Ekeler’s work. Kelly carried the ball for a season-high 10 times last week against a stingy Tennessee Titans front seven. The Colts have been run on a ton this season. Opposing teams average the 3rd most attempts but the 12th fewest yards per carry.

The Colts come into tonight’s affair with plenty of question marks. Nick Foles will be under center and look to spark the Colts’ offense after an abysmal showing in the 2nd half against the Minnesota Vikings.

Quarterback Matt Ryan was the culprit of another 4th-quarter collapse. The Colts’ offense scored 3 total points in the 2nd half including overtime. Look for them to get Nick Foles in a rhythm with the run game and short passes.

Ekeler is under this line in 9 straight games and 12 of 14 this season. Even if the Chargers pull out to an early lead, look for Ekeler to be limited in the run game.
