DeAndre Hopkins vs. Rondale Moore: Which Cardinals Receiver Has More Fantasy Football, DFS Value in TNF?

The Arizona Cardinals will be getting a huge boost to their offense for their Thursday Night Football matchup against the New Orleans Saints with the season debut of star receiver DeAndre Hopkins. However, this is causing some DeAndre HopkinsRondale Moore fantasy questions for both traditional and DFS players alike.

Hopkins was sidelined for the first six weeks of the season after being slapped with a suspension from the NFL for failing a drug test for PEDs. In his absence, Kyler Murray has been leaning on other weapons such as Rondale Moore.

While Hopkins will surely become the top option in Arizona, perhaps it’ll take some time to ease back into action. Let’s take a look at who ranks better for fantasy football and DFS ahead of Thursday’s game.

DeAndre HopkinsRondale Moore Fantasy Football and DFS Ranking

Per our Stokastic NFL Start/Sit Fantasy Football Rankings for Week 6, Moore (23rd for receivers) and Hopkins (22nd) rank pretty equally against the Saints’ defense, and it’s a similar story on the DFS side.

Using our DFS Player Compare, Hopkins projects to get 13.02 points, with Moore at 12.72. However, with Moore priced at just $4,500 and Hopkins at $6,200, perhaps there’s more value in Moore for this particular matchup.

Of course, getting DeAndre Hopkins back will provide a shot in the arm for the 2-4 Cardinals, but Murray warned that one player won’t provide a fix-all for Arizona’s struggling offense.

“It’s not a miracle [cure] that everything is gone,” Murray said. “We still have things we have to get better at, still things we need to fix.”

A knee injury cut Hopkins’ season short last year. In just nine games, the star receiver hauled in a career-low 42 catches and 572 yards with eight touchdowns.
