NFL Week 2 Prop Bets from No House Advantage: Mike Evans Stands Alone at the Top of the Bucs WR Room

Week 2 brings a packed schedule in the NFL filled with exciting games. A busy slate means lots of props to sift through on No House Advantage. There are two types of contests to play, “Pick ‘Em” and “Vs The House.” Let’s try to help narrow down the field by highlighting some of the best props to target.

NFL Week 2 Odds and Props: No House Advantage

Saquon Barkley, Giants: Over 26.5 Receiving Yards

The Giants pulled off an upset win over the Titans in Week 1, and they largely have Barkley to thank for that. He showed the same burst that he had when he entered the league, turning 18 carries into 164 yards and a touchdown. He was also busy in the passing game, catching six of seven targets for 30 yards.

With Barkley showing improved health and speed, the Giants are going to rely on him heavily moving forward. Daniel Jones is not the most reliable quarterback, so leaning more on Barkley is a good way to help limit turnovers. After the Panthers gave up 24 yards on four receptions to Kareem Hunt in Week 1, Barkley could blow past his over here. OddsShopper projects Barkley for 34.93 yards receiving.

Mike Evans, Buccaneers: Under 71.5 Receiving Yards

Evans came out of the gate with a strong performance, catching five of seven targets for 71 yards and a touchdown against the Cowboys. The Buccaneers lost Chris Godwin (hamstring) in that game, setting up Evans as their undisputed top wide receiver this week. However, they do have some viable options behind him in Julio Jones and Russell Gage, who are more than capable of providing support.

The reason to roll with the under here is Evans’ past struggles against the Saints. Including the regular season, he has faced them seven times over the last three seasons. He never came away with more than 69 yards in a single game. In fact, he had five games with fewer than 50 yards receiving.

Michael Pittman Jr., Colts: Over 76.5 Receiving Yards

The Colts aren’t great behind Pittman at wide receiver. Parris Campbell hasn’t been able to stay healthy throughout his career, and their third-best wide receiver is probably 2022 second-round pick Alec Pierce. That means Matt Ryan should look Pittman’s way early and after. That was certainly the case in Week 1, with Pittman catching 9 of 13 targets for 121 yards and a touchdown.

The Jaguars were lit up through the air in Week 1, allowing former Colts quarterback Carson Wentz to throw for 313 yards and four touchdowns. This might actually be a competitive game since the Jaguars have won each of their last four games at home against the Colts. That could mean plenty of targets for Pittman and hitting the over on this prop.

Joe Flacco, Jets: Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns

With the Jets trailing for most of their Week 1 matchup against the Falcons, Flacco attempted 59 passes. The good news is he came away with 309 yards passing. The bad news was that he only had one touchdown pass to go along with his one interception. Despite his struggles, he’s lined up to start against the Browns, with Zach Wilson (knee) out.

The Ravens aren’t an easy matchup, and the Browns won’t be either. They have a great pass rush, which is led by Myles Garrett. They only allowed one touchdown passing and 235 yards to Baker Mayfield in Week 1. With the expectation that the Jets offense struggles in this game, take the under for Flacco’s touchdown passes. OddsShopper projects Flacco for 1.13 touchdowns passing.
