Rams vs. Packers Weather Report: Is Winter Coming to Lambeau Field?

Will Lambeau Field turn into a Frozen Tundra for Monday Night Football? Ahead of the Los Angeles Rams vs. Green Bay Packers primetime game, let’s take a look at the weather report and see if we’re in for some rough conditions.

Rams-Packers Weather Report

According to The Weather Channel, it’s going to be a cold one Green Bay, which shouldn’t come as a surprise given the time of year. And perhaps we’ll even get some snow mixed in during the second half. According to the forecast, temperatures are supposed to be around 17 degrees and cloudy at kickoff. Starting at 10:00 pm local time, there is a 38% chance of snow showers, that are supposed to persist overnight.

The report might pose an even bigger threat to the two teams’ offenses, who have struggled throughout the course of the season.

Despite winning this second consecutive MVP Award last season, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense clearly miss Davante Adams, and haven’t quite clicked all season long. After scoring 26.5 ppl in the 2021-22 regular season, the Packers currently rank as the No. 22 offensive unit in the league with just 20.2 ppg.

Things have been similarly as frustrating for Rams fans. After winning the Super Bowl a year ago, the Rams have been plagued by injury and have one of the worst statistical offensive units in the NFL But they were able to pull off a wild win in Week 14 in Baker Mayfield‘s first game as a member of the team. Despite being down 16-3 late in the fourth quarter, Mayfield capped a 17-6 win with a  98-yard game-winning drive with two minutes remaining. He’ll now have the chance to finish off the season under center for LA.

“You don’t want to just throw the whole playbook (at him) because that’s not applicable,” McVay said via the team’s website. “You only have a certain amount of plays that you’re going to be able to get off in a given week, and I think it’s just continuing to build incrementally.”

“With there only being four games left, it’s one thing to try and learn the base install as much as I can,” Mayfield responded to a similar question about his expanded knowledge and familiarity.” But you don’t want to overflow it because really it’s about learning this game plan and what we’re trying to do based on the defense and what looks we’re going to get.”

Even though the addition of Mayfield gives the Monday Night Football game a little bit of intrigue, it’s highly unlikely we’ll see a ton of offense from these two struggling teams. Per DraftKings, the over/under is currently at just 39.5 with the weather report also playing a factor.
