Saints-Buccaneers Moneyline: Bettors Leaning on Tampa Bay as Favorites For MNF

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will enter their home game against the New Orleans Saints as a favorite on the moneyline. But ahead of the opening kick, let’s take a look at where you can get the best Saints-Buccaneers moneyline bets.

Best Saints-Buccaneers Moneyline Bets

Per our Oddsshopper tools:

According to BetMGM data analyst John Ewing, just 45% of bets and 39% of money is on the Saints to win the game as the betting underdog.

The Buccaneers come into the MNF tilt at 5-6, but thanks to a weak NFC South division, sit atop the standings, and are a heavy favorite at -400 to win the division crown. However, there are plenty of reasons for concern among Buccaneers fans. Mainly, the offense has suffered from a drastic drop-off in production in Tom Brady‘s third and final season on his contract.

After a disappointing 23-17 OT loss to the Cleveland Browns, a clearly frustrated Brady didn’t want to talk about the failures of his unit, but rather immediately set his focus to the Saints matchup.

“I’m on to the Saints,” Brady said to Tampa Bay Times when asked about the Bucs’ final series in regulation. “I’m not thinking about last week.”

The Saints certainly have their own issues on both sides of the ball. Despite coming into the season with Jameis Winston as their QB1, coach Dennis Allen has kept veteran Andy Dalton in place since Week 4. Dalton has had some moments of success, throwing for 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions, but their offensive issues were on full display during a 13-0 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12. Unfortunately for the Saints, they’ll have another tall task when going up against a Bucs defense that ranks fifth in the NFL allowing just 18.5 PPG.

For Dalton and the Saints to find success on Monday night, they’ll need to control the ball, and hope that Tom Brady‘s Buccaneers offense continues to struggle.
