Will Andy Dalton or Tom Brady be able to awaken their team’s dormant offenses on Monday Night Football? With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers set to host the New Orleans Saints on MNF, let’s take a look at the Andy Dalton–Tom Brady fantasy football & DFS rankings and see which one has more value.
Andy Dalton–Tom Brady Fantasy Football & DFS Ranking
Per our Stokastic Week 13 fantasy football rankings, Tom Brady (No. 16 on the board) unsurprisingly ranks ahead of Andy Dalton (No. 28). Using our player compare tool, Brady projects at 17.14 fantasy points, while Dalton projects at just 13.62.
Our expert DFS projections tell a similar story. Brady ($10,400) comes in with a higher value number of 1.73 compared to Dalton’s ($9,000) who we have listed at just 1.52.
Andy Dalton and the Saints offense struggled mightily against the San Francisco 49ers defense last week, losing 13-0 and falling to a 4-8 record. Dalton completed just 18 of 29 passes for 204 yards and the running game could’nt get going. Unfortunately for Dalton and the Saints, they’ll be going up against a Buccaneers defense that has allowed the least amount of passing yards (2,112) to opposing quarterbacks.
When the Bucs and Saints matched up in Week 2, the Tampa Bay defense feasteed against Jameis Winston, who began the season as the QB1 over Dalton. Winston threw three interceptions in the Saints’ 20-10 loss. Look for Dalton to try to manage the game and limit his mistakes against the opportunistic Bucs defense on MNF.
Despite the Buccaneers’ struggles on the offensive end, Brady is still putting up decent stats, with 14 touchdowns to go along with just two interceptions, completing 66.2% of his passes.
Don’t overthink the Andy Dalton–Tom Brady decision for Monday night. Go with the GOAT if you find yourself debating between the two signal callers.
